Job summary

CVS Health’s Staff Pharmacist role is focused on delivering high-quality patient care within our retail pharmacy network. The pharmacist will model excellence, supervise day-to-day pharmacy operations, and support the Pharmacy Manager to ensure safe dispensing and compliant practice.

Responsibilities include immunization delivery where permissible, counseling patients, managing workflow, and maintaining regulatory standards while contributing to a compassionate, inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the store's state.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required trainings within designated timeframe.
• Counsel patients and ensure accurate dispensing.
• Support patient care and pharmacy operations with teamwork.
• Maintain safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Proactively offer and deliver immunizations where permissible.
