CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead the pharmacy team in a busy store, ensuring safe dispensing, patient counseling, and immunizations while supporting the Pharmacy Manager in daily operations.

You will help manage patient care, supervise pharmacy staff during shifts, and maintain compliance with state regulations and company policies. This role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and attention to detail in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Assumes Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when serving as the only or primary pharmacist-on-duty, coaching the team as needed.
• Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails at every workstation.
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and proactive resolution of insurance and medication issues.
