Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations, provide safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization services, and support the Pharmacy Manager in daily duties.

You will ensure compliance with state laws, coach the team, manage inventory, and maintain patient safety while delivering compassionate care to customers across the store. This full-time role requires reliability, excellent communication, and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Overseeing the pharmacy as proxy manager during shifts and coaching the team for performance.
• Assuring safe prescription fulfillment and adherence to workflow procedures.
• Contributing to positive patient experiences and resolving insurance/medication issues.
• Offering immunizations and supporting technicians to immunize.
• Maintaining inventory with focus on cold chain products and regulatory compliance.
