Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Staff Pharmacist to lead and support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, patient-focused care within our retail stores. You will help manage dispensing, immunizations, patient counseling, and uphold regulatory standards while partnering with the Pharmacy Manager and care teams to optimize outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold an active Pharmacist License in the store's state and an active NPI, with a clean DEA Excluded Parties record.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health values by delivering safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Overseeing the pharmacy as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during shifts and coaching the team.
• Ensuring safe prescription fulfillment and adherence to workflow procedures with safety guardrails.
• Coaching Pharmacy Technicians in immunization delivery and patient care.
• Protecting cold chain inventory and maintaining regulatory compliance with state Board requirements.
