CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead and mentor the pharmacy team within a CVS Retail location. You will ensure safe dispensing, counseling, immunizations, and adherence to policy while supporting the Pharmacy Manager in day-to-day operations.

The role requires a current state Pharmacist license, NPI, and compliance with regulatory requirements. You’ll focus on patient care, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsabilités

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Taking direction from the Pharmacy Manager and overseeing the pharmacy as their proxy during bench shifts with coaching of the team.
• Assumes Pharmacy Manager's day-to-day duties when serving as the only or the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails at every workstation.
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care, and coaching the team to do the same.
• Proactively offering and delivering immunizations to keep patients healthy; engaging and supporting Pharmacy Technicians to learn to immunize.
• Supporting inventory management with focus on cold chain products and following best practices.
• Partnering with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure operations comply with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and escalate issues when needed.
• Remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs while maintaining a safe, inclusive team dynamic.
