The role requires a PharmD or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy and an active state pharmacist license, with the ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD is required.
• State Pharmacist License without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare medications for dispensing and packaging.
• Review orders and cycle-fill medications for accuracy.
• Verify legality and feasibility of dispensing based on allergies and interactions.
• Interpret prescriptions with professional judgment for patient safety.
• Adhere to Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Transfer prescriptions as needed and answer questions from patients or providers.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders when below par.
• Oversee technicians and provide feedback to supervision.
• Document medication errors and maintain quality records.
