Job summary

Right Dose Pharmacy in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a pharmacist to join our team. You will ensure accurate medication preparation, dispense with compliance to regulations, review orders, and support patient safety in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Pharmacy) or PharmD required.
• State Pharmacist License required without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications for dispensing, including filling, entry, and packaging.
• Review orders and cycle-fill medications for accuracy.
• Verify dispensing legality and safety based on allergies and drug interactions.
• Interpret prescription orders with professional judgement for patient safety.
• Adhere to Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations and compounding guidelines.
• Transfer prescriptions as needed and answer questions from patients and healthcare professionals.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders when below par.
