Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead the pharmacy team at a CVS Retail location. You will oversee dispensing, patient counseling, immunizations, and daily pharmacy operations in coordination with the Pharmacy Manager, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality care.

Responsibilities include managing patient safety, coaching technicians, and handling insurance issues while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
• Oversee pharmacy operations as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during shifts and provide coaching as needed
• Supports safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following workflow procedures and safety guardrails
• Contributes to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care, coaching the pharmacy team accordingly
