CVS Health is hiring a Staff Pharmacist to lead patient care at our retail pharmacy. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, manage daily operations, and deliver high-quality clinical care to patients while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes vaccination services, inventory management, and collaboration with the pharmacy team to improve patient outcomes and access to care. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Responsibilities

• Dispense safely and counsel patients with accurate dosing and instructions
• Oversee pharmacy operations as proxy during shifts and coach team members
• Assume Pharmacy Manager duties when serving as primary pharmacist-on-duty
• Ensure safe prescription fulfillment and follow pharmacy workflow procedures
• Resolve insurance and medication issues and support patient care journeys
• Proactively offer and administer immunizations where permissible
