CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist in a retail setting to lead the pharmacy team, ensure safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization services, and support the Pharmacy Manager in daily operations. You will oversee bench shifts, aim for excellent patient experiences, and ensure compliance with state regulations while delivering compassionate care to customers and patients.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: Concentrate on a task and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: Help people in a friendly manner
• Communication Skills: Interact with patients and colleagues effectively
• Mathematical Reasoning: Calculate totals, Days’ supply, and bottle counts for prescriptions
• Issue Resolution: Manage challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical Demands: Be mobile, lift, and move items as needed
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
