Job summary

OPTIMAL BALANCE PHARMACY LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist for a 503A compounding role. You will ensure every preparation meets high standards of accuracy, sterility, and patient safety while supporting collaboration and compliance across the team.

The position offers on-site, full-time work with growth pathways into senior, compliance, clinical, or leadership roles. You will help shape SOPs, workflows, and best practices at scale for nationwide patient care.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
• Active, unrestricted Texas Pharmacist License (or eligible to practice).
• 2+ years of sterile compounding or clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with USP <797>, <800>, and Texas Board requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve compounded prescriptions for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
• Oversee sterile compounding to ensure USP <797> and <800> compliance.
• Provide clinical guidance on drug interactions and dosing protocols.
• Maintain documentation according to regulations and internal standards.
• Collaborate with technicians and staff to ensure safe workflows and quality control.
• Assist with internal audits, inventory accuracy, and SOP improvements.
• Stay current with compounding guidelines and regulatory updates.
• Participate in staff education on sterile compounding best practices.
