Qualifications

• PharmD from an accredited institution.
• Active pharmacist license in the state where applying.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical calculations.
• Experience with pharmacy management systems and electronic health records.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient counseling and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Compounding preparations quality, strength, and proper labeling per USP and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Accurately review and dispense prescription medications per legal and professional standards.
• Provide patient counseling on usage, side effects, and interactions to ensure safe therapy.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and optimize care.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and controlled substances per regulatory requirements.
• Monitor patient therapies for efficacy and safety, addressing drug-related problems.
• Educate patients and staff on medications, health conditions, and wellness strategies.
• Ensure operations comply with federal, state, and local laws; participate in ongoing professional development.
