Job summary

Medix is looking for a detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to oversee daily LTC pharmacy operations in a quiet, non-retail setting in Georgia. You will supervise a team of 4 full-time technicians, verify orders, monitor drug therapy, and ensure compliance and safety.

The role emphasizes clinical drug monitoring, accurate order verification, and efficient workflows within a LTC environment. Requires 2+ years of pharmacist experience, LTC background preferred, and familiarity with FrameworkLTC

• 2+ years of pharmacist experience (LTC background preferred).
• FrameworkLTC software experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Order Entry & Verification: Verify transcribed orders, perform data entry audits, and manage patient medication profiles.
• Product Verification: Conduct final product verification (PB2) prior to delivery.
• Clinical Monitoring: Evaluate drug therapy for safety, interactions, appropriate dosing, and cost optimization.
• Team Supervision: Lead and support a team of 4 full-time pharmacy technicians while ensuring compliance and controlled substance tracking.

Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Rotating Saturdays (1–2x/month), 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Closed Sundays & Major Holidays

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, licensed Staff Pharmacist to oversee daily LTC pharmacy operations, clinical drug monitoring, order verification, and technician supervision in a quiet, non-retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

Salary Range

$124,800.00 – $135,200.00 / year

• Product Verification: Conduct final product verification (PB2) prior to delivery.
• Clinical Monitoring: Evaluate drug therapy for safety, interactions, appropriate dosing, and cost optimization.

Requirements
