Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in pharmacy
  • Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction)
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications and Responsibilities
  • At least 1 year of retail experience
  • Proficiency in a second language (speaking, reading, or writing)
  • Fulfill customers' prescription needs with accuracy
  • Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care
  • Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations, including HIPAA
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct, adhere to pharmacy standards and dress code
  • Develop knowledge of the trade area, customers, and competitors
  • Create a positive pharmacy image through excellent service and friendliness
  • Monitor stock levels, inventory, policies, record keeping, security, sanitation, scheduling, equipment operation, pricing, and product recalls
  • Maintain proper records for legal compliance and company policies
  • Keep the work area clean and organized to present a professional image
  • Handle product returns promptly and according to policy
  • Maintain all equipment in working order
  • Organize and keep reference materials and policies accessible and up to date
  • Ensure all signage is accurate and visible
  • Continuously improve personal pharmacy skills and knowledge
