Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
  • Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of retail experience
  • Second language proficiency (speaking, reading, or writing)
Responsibilities:
  • Fulfill customers' prescription needs with accuracy
  • Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care
  • Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations, including HIPAA
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct
  • Develop knowledge of the trade area, customers, and competitors
  • Promote a positive pharmacy image through excellent service and friendliness
  • Monitor stock, inventory, policies, record-keeping, security, sanitation, scheduling, equipment operation, pricing, and recalls
  • Maintain proper records for legal compliance and company policies
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Handle product returns promptly and according to policy
  • Maintain equipment and reference materials in good condition
  • Display appropriate signage throughout the store
  • Continuously expand pharmacy knowledge and skills
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
