Staff Pharmacist (Finance)

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in pharmacy
  • Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction)
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of retail experience
  • Proficiency in a second language (speaking, reading, or writing)
Responsibilities:
  • Fulfill customers' prescription needs with accuracy and provide counseling and pharmaceutical care.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to pharmacy standards and dress codes.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the trade area, customers, and competition.
  • Create a positive pharmacy department image through excellent service and teamwork.
  • Monitor stock levels, inventory, policies, record keeping, security, sanitation, scheduling, equipment operation, pricing, and reports.
  • Maintain proper records and security for scheduled drugs, including controlled substances.
  • Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products and ensure the use of accuracy tools.
  • Maintain organized and clean work areas and ensure all signage is appropriate and up-to-date.
  • Continuously improve personal knowledge and pharmacy skills.
  • Perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
