Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Effective oral/written communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

• 1 year of retail experience
• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

Responsibilities:

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with accuracy and care
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with all laws and regulations (including HIPAA)
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct
• Develop knowledge of the trade area, customers, and competition
• Create a positive pharmacy department image through service and friendliness
• Monitor stock, inventory, policies, record keeping, security, sanitation, and scheduling
• Maintain proper records for scheduled drugs and ensure legal compliance
• Handle pharmacy products from authorized sources
• Utilize accuracy tools appropriately
• Maintain organized work area and proper signage
• Ensure all equipment is in working order
• Keep policy manuals and reference materials up to date
• Broaden personal pharmacy knowledge and skills
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
