You will own designs from floorplan to production release, collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers, resolve DFM/DFA issues with fabricators, and mentor junior designers. This on-site role emphasizes safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant PCB design experience.
• Experience with complex PCB layouts for high-voltage/high-current systems.
• Experience with Cadence Allegro PCB Editor / OrCAD or equivalent tools.
• Understanding of stackups, controlled impedance, vias, and PCB fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCB placement and routing for complex power electronics including gate-driver, control, sensing, communications, I/O, power-interface, and test assemblies.
• Own PCB designs from floorplanning and stackup definition through layout, design review, documentation, and production release.
• Develop PCB layouts for high-voltage/high-current systems up to 2000 VDC / 600 VAC with PCB current paths over 100 A.
• Apply creepage, clearance, insulation coordination, grounding, thermal, EMI/EMC, and power integrity design practices.
• Define stackups, controlled impedance, routing constraints, copper requirements, vias, and fabrication requirements.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers on schematic, floorplanning, packaging, thermal interfaces, connectors, and ECAD/MCAD integration.
• Work with fabricators and contract manufacturers to resolve DFM/DFA and production issues.
• Create and maintain footprints, padstacks, mechanical symbols, constraints, and library content; mentor designers.
