Job summary

Trystar Inc is seeking a Staff PCB Design Engineer – Power Electronics to join our on-site teams in Merrimack, NH; or Waukesha, WI. You will lead PCB design and layout for high-power, high-voltage systems, collaborating with cross-functional engineers to translate requirements into manufacturable assemblies.

You will own stackups, leakage paths, insulation coordination, and design reviews, mentoring junior designers and enforcing standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant PCB design experience or equivalent.
• Experience with high-voltage, high-current, analog/digital, and high-speed layouts.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCB design and layout for complex power conversion electronics.
• Own designs from floorplanning to production release.
• Define stackups, impedance, routing constraints and fabricator interfaces.
• Mentor designers and lead design reviews across teams.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineers on ECAD/MCAD integration.
• Ensure compliance with UL/IEC/IEEE/IPC standards and DFMA processes.
