Job summary

Trystar is seeking a Staff PCB Design Engineer - Power Electronics to lead PCB design for complex high-power systems. You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to translate requirements into manufacturable PCB assemblies from concept to production release.

The role focuses on mixed-signal, high-voltage/high-current layouts and establishing PCB standards and documentation for scalable product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant PCB design experience.
• Experience with high-voltage, high-current layouts and mixed signal designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCB placement and routing for power electronics including gate-driver and control electronics.
• Own PCB designs from floorplanning through production release.
• Design high-voltage/current paths up to 2000 VDC / 600 VAC and 100 A paths.
• Define stackups, impedance, routing constraints, and via structures.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and CM teams throughout the product lifecycle.
