Job summary

Greenlight is seeking a Staff Offensive Security Engineer to lead the long-term defensive strategy and drive continuous security validation across consumer platforms, apps, and cloud infrastructure. You will run complex red team exercises, conduct deep vulnerability research, and help build automated, self-healing security controls.

You will mentor engineers and partner with DevOps/Engineering to embed secure development practices and robust guardrails, in a fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in offensive security, red teaming, or pentesting.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term offensive security strategy and continuous validation across platforms.
• Design and execute multi-stage adversary simulations targeting cloud, mobile apps, and internal networks.
• Conduct deep vulnerability research in high-risk areas to uncover complex flaws.
• Collaborate with DevOps/Engineering to build automated security guardrails and self-healing infrastructure.
• Support incident response with purple team exercises and improve monitoring capabilities.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers to promote secure development practices.
