Greenlight is seeking a Staff Offensive Security Engineer to drive long-term security strategy across consumer platforms, apps, cloud, and internal environments. You will lead complex red-team simulations, perform in-depth vulnerability research, and champion secure development across R&D.

The role emphasizes automation, self-healing infrastructure, and close collaboration with DevOps and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in offensive security, red teaming, or penetration testing.
• Deep AWS security architecture knowledge including IAM bypass techniques and serverless security.
• Experience with manual code review (Node.js, Python, or Go) and bypass techniques.
• Ability to script in Python, Bash, or Go to automate security testing.
• Ability to translate technical risk to business impact for executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term offensive security strategy and continuous validation.
• Design and execute multi-stage red team simulations across cloud, mobile, and internal networks.
• Conduct in-depth vulnerability research on high-risk areas.
• Build automated guardrails and self-healing infrastructure with DevOps.
• Support incident response and perform purple team exercises with the Detection team.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers to foster security-minded development.
