Job summary

Greenlight is seeking a Staff Offensive Security Engineer to lead continuous security validation across consumer platforms, cloud infrastructure, and internal environments. You will drive long-term strategy, perform complex red teaming and multi-stage simulations, and research high-risk vulnerabilities to keep pace with evolving fintech threats.

You will mentor engineers, champion secure development, and collaborate with DevOps to implement self-healing security guardrails and robust incident

Qualifications

• 8+ years in offensive security, red teaming, or pentesting.
• Strong AWS security architecture knowledge (IAM bypass, container escapes).
• Experience validating security across cloud/mobile/internal environments.
• Ability to script in Python/Bash/Go to automate testing.
• Ability to translate technical risk to business impact.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term offensive security strategy and continuous validation.
• Design and execute multi-stage adversary simulations across platforms.
• Conduct deep vulnerability research on high-risk areas.
• Build automated guardrails and self-healing infra with DevOps.
• Lead purple team exercises to validate detections and coverage.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers in secure development.
