Job summary

Mgsecureops is seeking a Lead Offensive Security Engineer to drive our security operations and advance our next-gen threat detection platform. You will own complex red team engagements, assess cloud infrastructure, and shape security strategy across teams.

You will mentor engineers, implement automated defenses in Python/Go, and collaborate with product teams to bake security-by-design into our roadmap. The role is fully remote with a competitive equity package and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in offensive security or red teaming.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust.
• Deep understanding of AWS/Azure security architecture.
• Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker).
• OCSP, OSEE, or similar advanced certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• conduct advanced penetration testing and red team exercises against our cloud infrastructure
• design and implement automated threat detection systems using Python and Go
• mentor junior security engineers and lead incident response activities
• collaborate with product teams to ensure security-by-design principles
• contribute to the open-source security community on behalf of MGSECOPS
