Greenlight Financial Technology is seeking a Staff Offensive Security Engineer to guide continuous security validation across consumer apps, cloud, and internal environments. You will lead multi‑stage adversary simulations and drive automated guardrails to prevent common attack vectors.

You will mentor engineers, conduct deep vulnerability research, and collaborate with DevOps to raise the security bar across the R&D organization within a fintech setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of offensive security, red teaming, or penetration testing.
• Deep AWS security architecture knowledge, IAM bypass techniques, container escapes, and serverless security.
• Experience with manual code review (Node.js, Python, or Go) and bypass techniques for modern security controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead long‑term offensive security strategy and continuous validation.
• Design and execute complex red team operations across cloud, mobile, and internal environments.
• Conduct deep vulnerability research to identify zero‑day or advanced flaws.
• Build automated security guardrails and self‑healing infrastructure with DevOps/engineering.
• Support incident response with purple team exercises to improve alert coverage.
• Mentor senior and mid‑level engineers to foster security‑minded development.
