Job summary

Greenlight is seeking a Staff Offensive Security Engineer to lead continuous offensive validation across our consumer platforms, mobile apps, cloud infrastructure, and hardware lines.

You will drive the long-term security strategy, design and run complex red team simulations, conduct deep vulnerability research, and champion self-healing guardrails while mentoring engineers across the R&D organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of offensive security, red teaming, or pen-testing experience.
• Strong AWS security architecture knowledge, IAM, Kubernetes, serverless.
• Experience with manual code review (Node.js, Python, or Go) and bypass techniques.
• Ability to script in Python, Bash, or Go to automate security testing.
• Excellent communication to convey risk to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term offensive security strategy and continuous validation.
• Design and execute red team simulations across cloud, mobile, and internal networks.
• Conduct deep vulnerability research into high-risk areas.
• Help build automated guardrails and self-healing infrastructure.
• Support incident response with purple team exercises.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers.
