Job summary

Okta Inc. is seeking a Staff Product Security Engineer for the Offensive Security Team to advance security testing across apps, cloud, and networks. The role focuses on offensive security, novel attack techniques, and scalable automation within a leading identity platform.

You will drive investigations of AI/LLM-integrated features, mentor teams, and help shape remediation strategies while collaborating with product, security, and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on penetration testing of web apps, infra and networks.
• Extensive testing of identity/IAM platforms and multi-tenant SaaS.
• Experience or strong interest in AI/LLM security risks.
• Proven track record building offensive security tooling.
• Experience operating in cloud environments (GCP required).
• Familiarity with Threat Modeling concepts and tooling.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform) for test environments.
• Solid understanding of modern cryptography and security principles.

Responsibilities

• Identify, plan, and exploit security gaps across app, cloud, and network layers.
• Conduct targeted security assessments and pentests with actionable findings.
• Assess AI/LLM-integrated features and develop novel attack techniques.
• Design, build, and maintain offensive automation frameworks for scaling security coverage.
• Represent Okta as a security SME in internal and external forums.
