Job summary

Okta is seeking a Staff Security Risk Analyst to identify and monitor operational, security, and compliance risks across the organization. You will drive automation across the risk lifecycle, engineering AI agents and workflows to scale risk data processing, and partner with risk owners to remediate findings.

The role requires strong governance of risk acceptance, effective communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

7+ years in hands-on security risk management and technical work.
Experience building automated workflows, scripts (Python/APIs).
Certifications in CRISC, CISA, CISM or CISSP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Identify, assess, monitor, and report on operational, security, and compliance risks.
Drive automation across risk lifecycle with AI agents and workflows.
Evaluate control effectiveness, track deficiencies, and drive remediation to closure.
Conduct root cause analysis on control gaps and post-incident reviews.
Partner with risk owners to develop and implement mitigation plans.
Govern risk acceptance and exception processes; manage risk register.
Provide security SME input on controls meeting regulatory requirements.
Develop KRIs/KPIs and data analytics for leadership reporting.
