Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare's Emergency Department seeks a Staff Nurse (RN) for a 0.6 FTE, 12-hour night shifts with every third weekend at the Downtown Minneapolis Campus. You will provide and coordinate nursing care within the Patient and Family Centered Care model, aiming to protect, promote, and optimize health while documenting an individualized care plan.

Minimum qualifications include 1 year ED/ICU or 3 years inpatient Med/Surg RN experience, MN RN license; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year ED, ICU, or 3 years inpatient Med/Surg RN experience.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and MN RN license.
• BSN is preferred and encouraged.

We are committed to bringing in individuals with new cultural perspectives to assist in creating a more equitable healthcare organization. **SUMMARY:** We are currently seeking a **Staff Nurse** to join our Emergency Department This position is a **0.6 FTE (4 shifts/ pay period), 12-hour shifts, Nights and Every Third Weekend** **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by: * Protecting, promoting, and optimizing health * Preventing illness and injury * Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response * Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others * Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care **QUALIFICATIONS:** ***Minimum Qualifications:*** * 1 year of current **ED** professional nursing (RN) experience - or - * 1 year of current **ICU** (including neonatal/ pediatric ICU) professional nursing (RN) experience - or - * 3 years of current **Inpatient Med/Surg** professional nursing (RN) experience * Graduation from an accredited school of nursing * Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota ***Preferred Qualifications:*** * Certification in area of clinical specialty -CEN, TNCC, CTRN, CPEN, Or CFRN certifications * BSN Preferred.
