Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare's Emergency Department seeks a Staff Nurse (RN) for a 0.6 FTE, 12-hour night shifts with every third weekend at the Downtown Minneapolis Campus. You will provide and coordinate nursing care within the Patient and Family Centered Care model, aiming to protect, promote, and optimize health while documenting an individualized care plan.

Minimum qualifications include 1 year ED/ICU or 3 years inpatient Med/Surg RN experience, MN RN license; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year ED, ICU, or 3 years inpatient Med/Surg RN experience.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and MN RN license.
• BSN is preferred and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care within the Patient and Family Centered Care model.
• Protect, promote, and optimize health and prevent illness.
• Alleviate suffering through treatment and document an individualized plan of care.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and significant others during care.
