Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare’s Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) in Minneapolis is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) for a 0.8 FTE position (64 hours per pay period). Shifts include Day and Night, with an every-other-weekend rotation, and 8-hour shifts.

The RN will provide and coordinate care under the Patient and Family Centered Care model, requiring MN RN licensure and ICU experience or capstone; BSN preferred. Strong benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of adult ICU RN experience or completion of ICU Capstone/Preceptorship.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Minnesota RN license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate nursing care in MICU per patient/family centered care.
  • Protect, promote, and optimize health; prevent illness; alleviate suffering.
  • Document interventions and develop an individualized plan of care.
