Qualifications

• Current experience (within past five years) or new nursing graduate (within past two years).
• State Licensed Registered Nurse for State of employment.
• CPR – Basic Life Support.

Responsabilités

• Performs all aspects of patient care using evidenced based practice to optimize safety.
• Follows medication rights and administers medications based on patient age and condition.
• States rationale for clinical decisions and documents patient care plans.
• Assesses and analyzes data to plan individualized care and discharge planning.
• Involves patient/family in the plan of care and provides education.
• Develops and updates an individualized plan of care including teaching and continuum of care.
• Assesses and manages pain and educates on pain management.
• Utilizes quality improvement findings to improve nursing practice.
• Participates in shared governance and department projects.
