Northwestern Medicine in Naperville, IL is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Physician Group to deliver direct patient care to acutely ill patients, coordinate nursing care, and participate in care planning.

You will perform triage, education, discharge planning, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes while following nursing standards and hospital policies.

Formación

• Current experience (within past five years) or new nursing graduate (within past two years).
• State Licensed Registered Nurse for State of employment.
• CPR – Basic Life Support.
• BSN preferred; one year experience in pertinent clinical specialty.
• Proficiency in a second language.

Responsabilidades

• Performs all aspects of patient care using evidence-based practice to optimize safety.
• Follows medication rights and administers meds based on patient condition.
• States rationale for clinical decisions based on critical thinking.
• Assesses, analyzes, and integrates data for patient care planning.
• Develops and updates an individualized care plan including discharge planning.
• Involves patient and family in the care plan and education.
• Contributes to quality improvement and participates in governance.
