Amentum in Texas is seeking a Staff Network Engineer to join a team delivering integrated voice, video, and data services across the IT lifecycle. This role requires critical thinking, independence, and collaboration within a dynamic environment.

Minimum 4 years of networking experience, CCNA with 8140 IAT Level II/III, and active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility are required. Expect 40-hour workweeks with varying shifts and potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing multiple projects under senior engineers.
• Provide support for local and wide area networking in a multi-platform environment.
• Support LAN/WAN administration, security, and operations.
• Develop hardware requirements and prepare specs for acquisitions.
• Research emerging technologies (SDN, virtualization) for integration.
