ACKtive Engineering Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with AI experience to design, deploy, and secure large-scale networks in support of national security missions. This role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities include configuring Cisco 7600/6500 devices, maintaining ASA/IDS/IPS, VPNs, and designing enterprise ISP backbones. Leadership of small teams and translating security requirements into configs are key expectations.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 10 years of experience in network design including routing, switching, and security.
• CCNA certification required.
• Strong AI skills across disciplines related to the AI working group.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Cisco 7600 routers and 6500 switches.
• Maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with Cisco ASA firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, 3750 switches, and management apps.
• Develop network security requirements and translate them into device configurations.
• Design and implement enterprise ISP backbone networks.
• Provide technical direction for operation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices.
• Direct small teams in identifying and resolving complex technical issues.
