Role requires deep experience in robotics software, C++ development on Linux, and mentoring senior engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of industry experience or advanced degree with fewer years
- Proven experience leading large cross-functional technical initiatives across multiple engineering teams
- Deep expertise developing robotics or autonomous vehicle real-time software systems
Responsibilities
- Lead motion planning algorithms development including trajectory generation and optimization
- Provide technical leadership across autonomy, controls, simulation, safety, and validation
- Collaborate with Safety, Controls, Perception, Validation, and Simulation teams to ensure safe behavior
- Mentor engineers and grow staff through guidance
