Job summary

Stack AV Co is seeking a Trajectory Generation and Controls engineer to advance motion planning, optimization, and real-time control for autonomous trucks. You will contribute across design, implementation, and deployment in a safety-critical software environment.

Candidates should have strong C++ and Python skills, hands-on experience with real-world vehicle systems, and a track record of delivering robust software in production.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building motion planning or control systems for real world vehicles; large ground vehicles a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own TG&C features from design to integration for autonomous trucks.
• Collaborate with Autonomy, Systems, and Operations teams to deliver safe software.
• Develop state-of-the-art software using C++ and Python with extensive unit testing.
• Participate in design and iteration to align stakeholders with clear communication.
• Ensure robust, production-ready software through testing and validation.
