Innovative Product Achievements (IPA) is seeking a Staff Mechanical Engineer to lead the design of complex mechanical systems from concept through production. You will own sophisticated mechanism design, drive cross-functional problem solving, and deliver precision hardware that advances IPA's capabilities.

You'll collaborate with hardware engineering, manufacturing, and program management to ensure designs are manufacturable, scalable, and reliable.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 10 years hands-on mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong background in mechanism design, kinematics, and precision assemblies.
• Proficient in 3D CAD (Solid Edge preferred) and fabrication techniques.
• Experience with motion simulation, FEA, and kinematic analysis.
• Ability to source precision components and engage vendors for manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with CNC tools and prototyping methods.

Responsabilidades

• Lead research, development, and engineering projects from concept to production for complex mechanical systems.
• Design and optimize multi-axis assemblies, precision linkages, gear systems, and actuators using CAD.
• Apply DFM, DFA, DFS ensuring manufacturability and serviceability.
• Fabricate and test prototypes with motion analysis and performance validation.
• Develop manufacturing and assembly processes balancing cost, quality, and safety.
• Source vendors for precision components and assess manufacturing capabilities.
• Provide technical support, root-cause analysis, and cost-optimization recommendations.
• Monitor project costs and report to Program Management.
• Travel up to 25%.
