Job summary

Data Innovations LLC is seeking a Staff Mechanical Engineer in Duluth, GA to lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems. You will own sophisticated mechanism design, drive cross-functional problem solving, and deliver precision-engineered solutions for hardware capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years hands-on experience.
• Deep expertise in complex mechanism design including kinematics and multi-axis systems.
• Proficient in 3D CAD modeling and fabrication techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to production for complex mechanical systems.
• Design and optimize multi-axis assemblies, linkages, gears, and actuators.
• Apply DFM, DFA, and DFS to balance performance and manufacturability.
• Fabricate and test prototypes; perform motion analysis and validation.
• Design manufacturing and assembly processes for cost, quality, and safety.
• Evaluate vendors and sources for precision components from prototype to production.
• Provide technical support and root-cause analysis for mechanical systems.
• Monitor costs and report projections to Management; optimize designs for cost.
