Job summary

The role focuses on sustaining engineering, obsolescence management, and manufacturing test systems, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 12+ years in medical device/healthcare industry preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience fixing electrical systems and PCB/PCBA electronics.
• Experience with design change control, validation, and regulatory requirements (FDA/ISO).
• Ability to perform structured root-cause analysis and translate findings into practical engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead root-cause investigations for system-level electrical issues in manufacturing and field environments.
• Solve electrical systems including power distribution, motor control, sensors, and interconnects.
• Coordinate with R&D on system changes ensuring compatibility with other subsystems.
• Drive design changes through ECO and change-control processes.
• Lead PCB/PCBA-level failure analysis and board-level changes with R&D.
