Rivian seeks an experienced engineer to lead the design and implementation of body assembly processes, equipment and production lines for new and existing products. You will work with design, integrators and the Rivian Operations team to enable manufacturability, ramp up to target rates, and ensure smooth handovers.

You’ll partner with production engineers to ensure ramp success, provide feedback to design teams, and uphold safety, quality, and cost targets while delivering timely, metric-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field.
• 7-10 years of experience in an engineering role related to automated manufacturing equipment and process.
• Knowledgeable in high and low volume manufacturing concepts (cycle time analysis, quality control, equipment efficiency).
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with high accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work independently and develop plans to execute deliverables with minimal guidance.
• Cross-functional teamwork with external stakeholders and multiple disciplines.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Experienced in 2D & 3D CAD environments.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement body manufacturing processes and equipment to grow production capacity.
• Partner with production engineers to ensure successful ramp and long-term production.
• Provide product feedback to design teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost, timing, and throughput targets on all projects.
• Provide metric-based updates to management.
• Follow industry standards and best practices in project implementation.
• Add value beyond assigned scope and challenge assumptions with engineering evaluation.
