Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the Body Manufacturing Engineering team at the Normal, IL plant. You will assist with dimensional management, tooling validation, and process stability to ensure high-quality vehicle production. You will work under a Sr.

Manager, Manufacturing Engineering and collaborate across cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes data-driven problem solving, fixture adjustments, and hands-on floor support in a fast-paced environment at our Normal

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of GD&T standards.
• Basic knowledge of automotive body assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dimensional management and datum schemes.
• Assist with tooling reviews, installation, commissioning and validation of tooling fixtures.
• Troubleshoot production issues to improve tooling and processes.
• Oversee inline and offline metrology data and identify trends.
• Create and maintain tooling certification reports and PFMEAs.
• Translate manufacturing data into actionable insights for design requirements.
