Genius AI in San Francisco is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Engineer to design and build the software factory that powers its AI-driven platform. You will treat CI pipelines, deploy tooling and alerting as products, and ship code daily with both humans and AI agents as customers.

You will own SLOs, define Terraform-based monitoring, mentor engineers, and shape tooling across app, service, compute, storage and network layers. The role requires in-person presence 3–4 days a week.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of professional software engineering with infrastructure focus.
• Track record of staff-level ownership for a platform or build/deploy system.
• Deep hands-on AWS and production Kubernetes experience.
• Fluency with Terraform and GitOps delivery.
• Experience designing CI/CD at scale and safe rollbacks.
• Strong observability skills and defining SLOs.

Aufgaben

• Scale CI platform as orchestration layer of the software factory.
• Build systems so engineers focus on feature work by removing deploy concerns.
• Design guardrails and auto-approval paths for safe infrastructure changes.
• Shape tooling and access for engineers and AI agents to resolve incidents.
• Own SLOs, codify monitoring in Terraform, eliminate noisy monitors.
• Write designs, review changes, mentor engineers, set platform direction.
