Zusammenfassung

Genius AI is hiring a Staff Infrastructure Engineer to design and build the software factory that powers its rapid development cycle. You will own CI pipelines, deployment tooling, and alerting as internal products, partnering with engineering teams to accelerate velocity and reliability.

You will report to the VP of Engineering and work in an in-person setting in San Francisco, with 3–4 days per week in-office and required attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including infrastructure focus.
• Staff-level ownership of a platform or deploy system with measurable gains.
• Deep hands-on experience with a major public cloud (AWS preferred).
• Fluency with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and GitOps delivery (ArgoCD).
• Experience designing CI/CD at scale: standardization, self-hosted runners, safe rollbacks.

Aufgaben

• Scale the CI platform as the orchestration layer of the software factory.
• Build systems that let engineers deploy with confidence and speed.
• Design guardrails, validation and auto-approval paths for safe infra changes.
• Shape tooling and breakglass access for infra and AI agents to resolve incidents.
• Own SLOs, codify monitoring, and improve reliability across the stack.
• Write designs, review changes, and mentor engineers to lift platform quality.
