Job summary

Ivo is building the contract intelligence platform of choice for major companies. We are seeking an Infrastructure/DevOps-focused engineer to own multi-region Kubernetes deployments, IaC tooling, and end-to-end reliability.

You’ll work closely with the engineering team, push frontiers in LLM-enabled automation, and help scale a fast-growing startup in Downtown San Francisco. Ideal candidates have 8+ years of experience, are fluent with Kubernetes, Pulumi or Terraform, Docker, and GitHub Actions,

Qualifications

• Experience operating in Kubernetes across multi-cluster, multi-region deployments.
• Strong background in IaC and CI/CD tooling including Pulumi or Terraform, Docker, and GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Run Kubernetes like it's your own startup — multi-cluster, multi-region deployments with real failover.
• Build internal tools to manage infrastructure and ensure consistent dev-to-prod environments.
• Isolate workloads (ML vs API) balancing cost, performance and reliability without over-engineering.
• Make security invisible, with RBAC, identity, secrets management and data residency.
• Define real, enforceable SLOs and hold teams to them.
• Own the CI/CD pipelines and IaC, shaping what ships.
• Keep Docker environments sane across dev, staging, and prod.
• Debug end-to-end across APIs, workers, jobs, and frontend builds.
• Automate repetitive tasks to speed up development.
• Own uptime and incident response with proactive postmortems.
