Job summary
ShipBob, Inc. is seeking a Staff Industrial Engineer – Supply Chain Operations to drive future supply chain flows across the warehouse network.
The role offers autonomy to identify process improvements and lead cross-functional projects. You will leverage lean/six sigma experience, develop new programs, train teams, and eliminate waste while collaborating with site operations to scale our fulfillment platform.
Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of industrial engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards.
- Experience in project management.
- Basic 2D/3D CAD software skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
Responsibilities
- Enforce quality control to reduce waste.
- Improve the efficiency of fulfillment and transportation processes.
- Lead projects, develop estimates and financial proposals.
- Facilitate corrective and preventative action teams.
- Provide floor support, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
- Develop CAD drawings and process flow charts.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on new processes and equipment.
- Define and document SOPs for new and modified processes.
- Remove barriers to achieve project goals.
- Manage data collection and project tracking.
- Follow environmental, quality, and safety practices.
- Comply with food safety and regulatory policies.
