Job summary
ShipBob is seeking a Staff Industrial Engineer – Supply Chain Operations to improve processes across our warehouse network and drive high merchant experience. The role emphasizes lean practices, Six Sigma, and hands-on floor involvement to cut waste and boost efficiency.
You will lead cross-functional projects, develop cost-saving analyses, and collaborate with teams to implement new processes and equipment planning.
Qualifications
- Must have degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years in Industrial Engineering.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Experience launching process automation to optimize efficiency.
- Six Sigma Black Belt and lean improvement knowledge preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate current supply chain practices and identify improvements.
- Enforce quality control to reduce waste.
- Improve efficiency of fulfillment and transportation processes.
- Develop process data collection and analysis for project tracking.
- Define and document Standard Operating Procedures for new/modified processes.
- Manage cross-functional projects and equipment planning.
