Job summary

ShipBob, Inc. is seeking a Staff Industrial Engineer – Supply Chain Operations to drive continuous improvement across our warehouse network. You will lead process optimization, mentor on-floor teams, and develop CAD-based solutions to reduce waste and improve throughput in a dynamic, high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional Industrial Engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards.
• Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Enforce quality control to reduce waste.
• Improve fulfillment and transportation processes efficiency.
• Investigate, evaluate, develop estimates, financial proposals, and manage a variety of operational projects.
• Facilitate and manage corrective and preventative action teams from customer complaints and CI initiatives.
• Provide technical on-floor support and guidance on process improvements.
• Develop CAD drawings, process flow charts, and cost saving analyses.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams on new processes and equipment planning.
• Define and document Standard Operating Procedures for new/modified processes.
• Identify and remove barriers to achieve project goals.
• Manage process data collection and analysis for projects.
• Follow Environmental, Quality, and Safety Management best practices and policies.
• Comply with food safety and compliance policies and regulations.
