Job summary
ShipBob, Inc. is seeking a Staff Industrial Engineer to drive continuous improvement across our warehouse network. You will lead process improvements, design solutions with CAD, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize fulfillment and transportation.
The role requires 5+ years in Industrial Engineering, Lean/Six Sigma experience, and travel up to 30%. You will report to the IE, Supply Chain Operations, and play a key part in eliminating waste while maintaining safety and quality
Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Industrial Engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards.
- Up to 30% travel required.
Responsibilities
- Enforce quality control to reduce waste.
- Improve efficiency of fulfillment and transportation processes.
- Investigate, evaluate, develop project estimates and financial proposals.
- Lead corrective and preventive action teams from quality issues.
- Provide floor-level technical support and guide process-improvement teams.
- Develop CAD drawings, process flow charts, cost-savings analyses.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on new processes and equipment planning.
- Define and document SOPs for new/modified processes.
- Identify and remove barriers to achieve project goals.
- Manage data collection and project tracking.
- Follow EHS and safety policies; ensure compliance.
