Job summary
ShipBob, Inc. is seeking a Staff Industrial Engineer – Supply Chain Operations to optimize merchant experience and warehouse efficiency across the network. You will lead process improvements, develop CAD drawings, and guide cross-functional teams on new processes and equipment planning.
The role requires an IE degree, 5+ years of experience, and Six Sigma Black Belt. Expect up to 50% travel with a remote-friendly setup and a base plus bonus potential as part of a comprehensive compensation
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years in Industrial Engineering.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Experience launching process automation to optimize efficiency.
- Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
- Up to 50% travel required.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate current supply chain practices and identify improvements.
- Enforce quality control to reduce waste.
- Improve fulfillment and transportation process efficiency.
- Analyze tasks to boost productivity with new tools.
- Develop project estimates, financial proposals, and manage projects.
- Lead cross functional teams on new processes and equipment planning.
- Define Standard Operating Procedures for new/modified processes.
